Who does well here

The people who thrive at Continker tend to have a strong academic foundation in computer science, artificial intelligence, or a related field, typically at master's level or above, with a focus on machine learning. They have worked in environments where precision matters: finance, healthcare, security, or similar domains where mistakes are expensive.

They usually have visible work outside their day job. Open-source contributions, research publications, side projects that show how they think and what they care about. We look for evidence of craft, not just credentials.

We contact previous employers and collaborators as part of our process. We want to understand how someone works in a team, how they handle pressure, and what people who have worked with them actually say.

Areas we work in

Machine learning engineering, data science, data engineering, full-stack development with an AI focus, and MLOps. The exact shape of the role depends on the person and the work at hand.

Location

Continker is based in Amsterdam with an office in the city. The infrastructure, the clients, and the team are rooted in Europe. Many of our clients require that engineers working on their systems are EU residents, so EU residency is a prerequisite. We do not offer visa sponsorship.

For candidates joining the cybersecurity lab and Continker AV, we request a Certificate of Conduct (VOG) as part of the recruitment process.
